We have been sucked into another late night of Olympics...between the swimming and the gymnastics, there has been lots of ooohs and ahhs and eeeehs and yikes! Totally amazed every time by phelps and crew and the gymnasts just keep me on edge! So sad for the US gal who messed up both her beam and floor routine. That pretty much dashed their gold dreams. Youchie. Anyone else up late watching?

Yup, on the East Coast the gymnastics went after 12:30, I watched the U.S. mess up and then dozed on the couch while the Chinese finished up on floor.

i was, and I was sooo tired. Phelps was amazing.
ReplyDeleteI watch at night when I nurse Bean. Although I'm too bleary to remember anything. Except synchronized diving. Was that always an Olympic sport? Cool.
ReplyDeletei have been up watching late night olympics for the past couple of nights... I love the swimming and gymnastics. My palms sweat and I crack my knuckles why I watch.. so exciting! I couldn't imagine what the athletes are feeling! go USA!
ReplyDeleteOur dish got taken down in the midst of all the remodeling so no tv for us. Bad timing, but glad I'm not addicted.
