Did you know...

that extended use of antibiotics can be linked to the loss of tooth enamel?  I had no idea but that was one of the first things the dentist we saw Saturday asked was if Z had tubes!  Had no clue!  And then one of the only other friend's kiddo we know that got tubes, also had the same molar cavities.  Interesting!!

This doc seemed much more relaxed about the whole thing but did feel like eventually we would need to cap the 2 back molars.  He suggested we just watch the back teeth and maybe get Z a little more comfortable with the dentist and wee bit older and then do it.  As long as he is not in any pain and the decay isn't too bad, there is not an issue with waiting for a bit.  Z was so much better at this visit, not even a year!  We will go back in 3 months for an actual cleaning and check on the tooth.  Markey was climbing up into the chairs at will so I am thinking he wont even have an issue when it is his turn! ;-)

Thinking of going on a bluebonnet hunt today for some pics.  Been reading online and it seems they are just starting to really pop up places now!  I love the annual bluebonnet pics and definitely want that to be a tradition with my boys! :)
